A sitting room with white sofas and exposed beams

Stay

Nineteen rooms in a restored linen bleachworks, for groups, always overnight.

A bedroom with white linen and an old timber headboard

Rooms

Each of the nineteen rooms has its own bathroom. Wood, linen, old stone.

A bedroom key tied with a linen tag marked M2

Farm to table

Our market garden on site grows all the vegetables.

The house can be rented without a chef: your group is free to cook for itself. Or, as an option, a chef takes care of all the catering. Your choice.

How a stay works

A creative retreat

A group gathers around a creator and uses our facilities to practise in the workshop. Read more about our creative retreats.

Or simply as a holiday house

If you would rather just come and stay, friends or family can take the whole house and enjoy the place for a while: the rooms, the table, the grounds.

Getting here

Good to know

Can we come for the day?

No. We host groups for at least one night, so the house and the grounds become yours.

How many people can you host?

The house has 19 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and sleeps up to 36 guests. Tell us your group size and we will confirm what works.

Do we have to do a workshop?

No. A creative retreat is one way to stay. You can also take the house as a holiday house, with no programme, and simply enjoy the rooms, the table and the grounds.

How long can we stay?

From a weekend to several days.

Can we add a workshop or a visit?

Yes. Once you are here you can add a craft session or a day out in the region.

Planning a stay for your group?

Share your dates and the size of your group. We will come back with a proposal.
